There are 20 cruise departures today, including:
- the last of Carnival Glory’s 2-night “cruises to nowhere” from Norfolk, Virginia. Glory is relocating to Miami as of November 1st and is scheduled to make week-long Caribbean voyages from there for the next couple of years;
- Costa Mediterranea begins a 7-night cruise to the eastern Mediterranean from a relatively unusual departure port: Heraklion, Greece. Ports of call on this trip include Israel, Cyprus and Turkey;
- Holland America Line’s ms Zuiderdam departs on a 10-night cruise to the southern Caribbean from Fort Lauderdale. ms Zuiderdam will be making 10- and 11-day round-trip cruises from Fort Lauderdale until April 2014.
