Today’s Cruises – October 4, 2013

There are 14 cruises scheduled for departure on Friday, October 4, 2013, including:

  • Celebrity Solstice is starting an 18-night voyage from Honolulu to Sydney that will include visits to Tahiti, Bora-Bora and New Zealand;
  • Contrary to its name, Costa Atlantica won’t be traveling anywhere near the Atlantic on the 5-day round-trip from Shanghai that begins today;
  • Grand Princess begins a 15-night round-trip cruise from San Francisco to Hawaii today, something it will do 11 more times between now and the end of April 2014.

Looking nine months ahead, there are currently 23 cruise ships scheduled for departures on Friday July 4, 2014, including seven different cruises to Alaska.

Today’s Cruises – October 2, 2013

There are seven cruises departing today, Wednesday October 2, 2013, with ships leaving from…

  • Long Beach: Carnival Miracle leaves on a 4-night “Baja California” cruise with stops at Santa Catalina and Ensenada;
  • New York: Holland America’s ms Eurodam is making a 10-day, one-way trip from New York to Quebec City, visiting Boston, Bar Harbor, Halifiax and several other picturesque Canadian towns;
  • Los Angeles: ms Oosterdam is headed to Sydney and then Auckland.  A 24-night cruise hits Hawaii, Fiji and New Caledonia on the way to Sydney.  The 38-night option continues on a two-week tour of Australia and New Zealand, ending in Auckland;
  • Barcelona: Norwegian Spirit is making a 12-night Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona to Venice, making calls to France, Italy, Greece and Turkey.

Looking ahead six months, there are six cruise ships scheduled to depart on April 2, 2014, including Dawn Princess for a 11-day cruise from Auckland to Sydney.
